At the annual conference of the International Association of Golf Administrators (IAGA), held this year at Horseshoe Bay Resort outside of Austin, Texas, on Nov. 3-6, Sullivan Golf Travel (SGT) presented a donation of $1,600 to the Washington Golf Foundation, with the funds to be utilized in support of the WA Golf Youth on Course program. For the past several years at the IAGA conference, SGT has made this donation.
In addition to their annual cash donation to the Washington Golf Foundation, SGT also donates a special “Ireland Trip” golf package to the Washington Golf Foundation, which is then auctioned off each fall at a fundraiser. This year’s event was held Oct. 16 at Evergreen Golf Club in Redmond, Wash., which is co-owned by former Seattle Seahawk receiver Jermaine Kearse, who also sits on the Board of Directors of the Foundation. At the recent fundraiser, the Ireland Trip brought in an astounding $10,000, all of which will go to support the WA Golf Youth on Course program.
Despite being based just outside of Dublin, Ireland, SGT has continued its support of the Washington Golf Foundation, and specifically the WA Golf Youth on Course program.
Since 2011, SGT has been the dedicated travel partner of the Pacific Northwest Golf Association – of which WA Golf is a member association – organizing group trips for members to Ireland and Scotland.
